Self-awareness is the foundation for deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the world. This is true for students and also for the professionals who serve them, which is why we’re offering a new training focused on self-awareness and identity.
Our module is specifically designed so you can meet the needs of all students, especially the most marginalized girls. Over our two-hour online training, you’ll identify your personal traits, strengths, and values. Together, we’ll demystify conversations around identity. You’ll learn how media narratives impact our sense of self, and explore storytelling as a tool for empowerment and self-advocacy. Plus you’ll practice fostering positive relationships and creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for youth of all backgrounds.
This module’s activities and curriculum are co-designed and tested by girls and gender-expansive youth. Thirty lessons total, spanning developmental stages from grades 6 to 12.
