This month’s Girls Leadership Girl & Grown-up Book Club selections remind us that true belonging gives a more profound sense of being home than any place can give.
The books we’ve chosen for the first Girl & Grown-Up Book Club meetings of the 2017-2018 school year feature characters who are struggling to develop new friendships and dealing with change in their existing friendships. We chose to think about these books with a focus on inclusion and empathy.
This year, in addition to giving ourselves a new name and expanding the grade levels of our participants, we’ve decided to announce all the book titles for the whole year… right now!
