Girls Leadership is pleased to announce our latest board member, Aditi Goel!

I’d like to introduce Aditi Goel, founder of P16 Partners. Aditi is born and raised in the Bay Area, is raising her own daughters here and has over two decades of public education and nonprofit experience. She began her career as a Teach for America teacher in New Orleans, LA and then in East San Jose (Independence HS, East Side Union High School District).

She then pursued a Master in Education Policy & Management from Harvard University Graduate School of Education before carving out a career in social impact – working with underrepresented students, families and communities to create better educational opportunities. Aditi worked at WestEd, a nationally renowned education research and development center before joining and leading the Silicon Valley Leadership Group‘s education portfolio. At SVLG, Aditi built coalitions to advocate for policy change, designed and led events to convene multiple sectors around public education, and developed partnerships between private and public sectors to advance educational opportunities for all. She was then recruited to Google’s Diversity team to design, launch and lead a national computer science initiative for Black and Latinx students (CodeNext).

With a deep passion for equity and a commitment to ensuring that all children everywhere have access to excellent learning opportunities, Aditi created P16 Partners (P16 Partners) as a way to leverage her expertise and experience to help social impact organizations do their work better so they can accelerate towards achieving their mission. Clients to date include the James Irvine Foundation, the Walton Foundation, CA STEM Network, The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Beyond12, San Jose State University and others.

Aditi lives in Los Altos with her husband and two daughters (age 12 and age 10), and also plays the pandemic roles of chef, snack maker, 4th grade math tutor, and afternoon walk enforcer.
