Dear GLI Friends,
Do you know that GLI programs are teaching girls to identify, navigate and reverse the destructive rituals and lessons of girlhood: from bullying and aggression to perfectionism and stress? We run transformational programs in three regions: the San Francisco Bay Area, Colorado and New York City. GLI has also created a thriving residential summer camp.
One attendee said,
“We just took the 4th-5th grade GLI class in October. I wanted to email you to thank you so much for a wonderful experience. It has really changed our daughter’s approach to dealing with relationships in school and her feelings. So much so, that she has really been practicing what she has learned with actual conflicts.”
Help more girls take part in our effort! Please consider a $125 donation to the Girls Leadership Institute this holiday season in honor of the many wonderful girls in your life!
Kind regards,
Coni Frezzo

Girl Find: Ask Elizabeth by Elizabeth Berkley
This month’s girl find, Ask Elizabeth, is the complete guide to teen life! Inspired by the many workshops actress and girl advocate Elizabeth Berkley has conducted with over 30,000 teen girls across the country, Ask Elizabeth brings the spirit of these conversations to life on the page.
This excellent book contains real and practical advice, anecdotes and wisdom in answer to the most asked questions from girls who participate in Elizabeth’s workshops such as: what do you do when you look in the mirror and don’t like what you see? or How do you get over a broken heart? Elizabeth, along with a panel of experts (including our very own Rachel Simmons) and teen girls themselves, advise readers in matters of body image, personal relationships, dating, and much more. Check it out this holiday season!
