This year marked our 15th anniversary as an organization, including a major change. While we started as a direct-service girl-serving organization, we’ve arrived at a new approach. When you listen to girls for 15 years you learn a ton, and what we learned is that the girls are powerful; it is the adults in their lives that need the training and support so we can model what it means to be powerful, and not punish our girls for using the power of their voice.

There is so much we love about our work with adults, including our new reach (we impact over 150,000 girls a year!), and that we now reach all girls, in school, and in their sports program, or their after-schools. Our girls never have to sign-up, or pay a fee, or catch a ride, because we bring our resources to where they already are.
We could never have accomplished any of this without your partnership. Together we are showing our girls that they were born powerful, and deserve to come of age in a world that acknowledges and benefits from their brilliance.
