Sherese is a theatre artist who wears many hats. If her friends had to elaborate on her hats they would say she is an actor, educator, and arts education advocate. As an actor she has performed on stages across the New York and New Jersey area and can be seen in various film productions as well. When not performing, she is a teaching artist that focuses on utilizing theatre as a tool for education. Having a knack for curriculum development, Sherese enjoys creating workshops and residencies that utilize arts integration in the classroom. Recently she developed, marketed, and facilitated her own Applied Theatre workshops for youth in Newark, NJ. On her rare breaks from performing and teaching, she enjoys seeing various works of art, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to be a part of the Girls Leadership team and work with a great group of people. Sherese holds an MA in Educational Theatre from New York University.
