Rachel Simmons is the author of two bestselling books about adolescent girls, Odd Girl Out: The Hidden Culture of Aggression in Girls and The Curse of the Good Girl: Raising Authentic Girls With Courage and Confidence.
An educator and curriculum writer, Rachel develops programs for the Wurtele Center for Work and Life at Smith College, and works with schools and universities around the country. Her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, Slate, The Atlantic, and many other publications. She is working on a new book about the new skills young women need for college and beyond.
