This is Olivia’s second summer working at Girls Leadership and she is very excited to be returning. Olivia has experience working in residential communities and out of school programs with students across the United States. She has worked for outdoor, experiential and leadership education organizations on the coast of Maine at Coastal Studies for Girls, in the redwoods of California at San Joaquin Outdoor School, in the mountains of Wyoming at Teton Science School and in her own backyard in the New York City area. In addition, she has created and implemented youth programming focusing on creativity and the arts.
Olivia comes to Girls Leadership from New York City, where she just graduated with her Masters in Youth Studies, focusing on youth development programming with a strong emphasis on social justice and equity. She received her B. A. in Art and Visual Culture with minors in Education and Religious Studies from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. She is excited to bring her passion and enthusiasm for community building, creative expression, and self-discovery to the GL community this summer.
