Melissa Quattrone


Melissa is grateful for the opportunity to be an educator for Girls Leadership. She is passionate about helping all children reach their fullest potential. She has an undergraduate degree from West Chester University, where she majored in English, Secondary Education. After working with children and adults with developmental disabilities, she earned a Master of Arts in Learning Disabilities from Teachers College, Columbia University. Melissa taught elementary and middle school children for seven years. Then, she studied at Rowan University to earn a certificate as a Learning Disability Teacher Consultant. She works with surrounding school districts to help children receive services to meet their individual learning needs. As a mother of two girls, Melissa believes it’s essential to empower girls to use their inner voice as a compass to navigate the world. In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, listening to live music, exercising, and reading books.
