Kayla Gelman

Kayla has spent years working with beautiful people of all ages in various paid and volunteer social service positions. She has connected with children in numerous capacities: as a nanny, a camp instructor, an after-school counselor, a teacher, and a program manager for a sports-based youth program. She is a Licensed Social Worker and finds great joy in connecting with others. Kayla received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Montclair State University in 2010. In 2015, she earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Southern University at New Orleans; which was during a four-year adventure she and her husband embarked on in the Big Easy. Currently, she is working as a grant writer with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark, and loving the role. She believes strongly in women and is excited to connect with girls and help them develop into the best versions of themselves. If you see her around, give her a high-five and a whoosh!
