Jen O’Leary

Educator

Jen is an Anaheim, California native who followed her family to Colorado in 2007. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders with a minor in child development from California State University, Fullerton. She continued on at CSUF where she attained her master’s degree in the same field of study. She now lives in Arvada, Colorado where she works with children in two very different capacities. As a speech-language pathologist for Jefferson County Public Schools, Jen feels fortunate to be able to work with special needs students in an academic setting. She enjoys helping her students persevere through challenges to reach their full potential. As the Assistant Director of Dream BIG Day Camp in Denver, she loves interacting with children in a recreational environment. Working to help campers learn and grow in a supportive environment where they feel safe to take risks is a dream come true for her. Jen is thrilled to take on the role of Educator with Girls Leadership where she can combine her passion for teaching and helping young people grow as individuals. As a mother of a daughter, she feels blessed to have Girls Leadership as an amazing resource to inspire her daughter to be her true, authentic self.
