Elaine Davenport


Elaine Davenport has two decades of experience at education-related nonprofits, with roles ranging from workshop facilitation, one-on-one mentoring, and program design and leadership. She was a Trainer for prestigious college access program The Posse Foundation, she managed the education program for national oral history project StoryCorps, and has consulted on curriculum development, training, and program management for youth development organizations such as Chinatown Youth Initiatives and Opportunity Network. In 2016 Elaine earned a Master of Social Work from Hunter College and she is currently a social worker for Center for Family Life at Sunset Park High School, where she helps lead in-school and after-school programs. Elaine is thrilled to use her skills in service of Girls Leadership’s mission and vision.
