Danielle Lucksted

Educator

Danielle Lucksted is a graduate student at NYU. She has an MA in Human Rights from University College London, and undergraduate degrees in psychology and English. From 2014-2017, she served as the Prevention and Education Program Manager at Safe Haven: a domestic violence organization in Michigan where she researched and facilitated over 200 presentations a year on the subjects of domestic and sexual violence prevention with community members and students. She was also a mentor for Young Leaders Against Violence, where she developed a permanent passion for youth and girls empowerment. She formerly worked for a Shakespeare Company and served as a board member for Heritage Theatre Group in Michigan. She loves reading, movies, and New York food. Danielle is thrilled to be contributing to the amazing work of GL and the all-important mantra “Here’s to strong girls: may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them!”
