Courtnee joins Girls Leadership with over a decade of professional experience in non-profit technology, marketing, editing, and teaching. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Romance Languages and Linguistics from Mount Holyoke College and is beyond thrilled that she’ll be spending the summer at her Alma Mater with the Summer Program!
Courtnee grew up in Maine and as a young adult was driven to lead her peers into service with the international high school service organization, Key Club. She was and still is passionate about language (French, in particular–her family comes from Quebec and the bayous of Louisiana). She spent two years abroad—the first in central France after high school and the second teaching English in Korea after college. She also loves biking, hiking, sunshine, storytelling, and softball. She is a softball coach and on the board of the Oakland Girls Softball League.
