Ashley was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Once she graduated from high school, she moved three hours away to attend California State University, Chico and spent four years falling in love with the city of Chico. In December of 2011, she graduated with a degree in Multicultural and Gender Studies, Emphasis in Women’s Studies and a business minor in Managing Diversity in Organizations. This area of study has influenced Ashley to care deeply about issues relating to girls and women. Ashley began at Girls Leadership as the Administrative Associate, and after two years of supporting Girls Leadership’s programs and providing customer service to our participants, she is now serving as Girls Leadership’s Operations Manager for the organization, from program contracts to technology and IT infrastructure. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys hiking, going to concerts, volunteering at the East Bay SPCA, and spending lots of time with her dogs, Rudy and Eddie, and Belle.
