Ashley was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended California State University, Chico and graduated with a degree in Multicultural and Gender Studies, Emphasis in Women’s Studies and a business minor in Managing Diversity in Organizations. This area of study has influenced Ashley to care deeply about issues relating to girls and women, which is why she was drawn to the work that Girls Leadership does. Ashley began at Girls Leadership as the Administrative Associate in the summer of 2014. Now in her 5th year with the organization, she is currently the Operations and Technology Manager, overseeing the organization’s operations, optimizing processes, and managing all things IT related. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys going to concerts, hiking and spending time in nature, and volunteering at the East Bay SPCA. Most importantly, she enjoys spending lots of time with her dogs, Rudy, Eddie, and Belle (and any other dogs she comes into contact with).
