Annalyn Cruz (pronouns: she/her) is a California native who works at Electronic Arts (EA) as a Manager/Learning Consultant for the Learning, Engagement, Analytics and Performance Team. She has 20+ years of experience in coaching, leadership development, training, instructional design, event management, outreach and inclusion. Annalyn prides herself on the multiple identities that encompass who she is: a feminist, daughter of Pilipino immigrants, Asian Pacific Islander, coach, friend, leader, improviser…to name a few. She feels very strongly that the type of change we need in the world starts with raising courageous, empowered girls to know the power of their voice, actions and words. Giving back to community has always been a strong passion of Annalyn’s; she wants to continue to do so by serving on the Girls Leadership California Board.
Annalyn received her BA in Asian American Studies and Sociology at UC Santa Barbara and her MS in Education from Colorado State University. She loves performing and facilitating improv, practicing mindfulness and yoga and discovering new ways to appreciate the everyday.
Annalyn loves living in Oakland and being a part of the vibrant community there. She’s a mom to her fur baby dachshund terrier, Cab.
