Amber Bishop

Residential Counselor

Amber is an Ohio native and holds a BS in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kent State University. Amber spent her undergraduate years collaborating and empowering other students from marginalized backgrounds. Amber is passionate about advocating and holding space for girls, women and femmes. Joy and community are frameworks in her activism and she is excited to bring this to her Girls’ leadership role this summer. This fall Amber will be pursing an MFA in documentary Production and Studies at the University of North Texas. She hopes to research and document African American southern culture.

In her spare time, you can find Amber watching Turkish dramas, skincare videos and debating with people about the last season of Game of Thrones. Amber dreams of liberation and a transformative world.
