Allison Guillen-Capo is a director on the product and privacy legal team at LinkedIn. A seasoned technology and privacy attorney. She joined LinkedIn following tenures at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. and Industrial Light & Magic, a division of Lucasfilm. In her current role, Allison leads a team of business-enabling attorneys that partner with LinkedIn’s Business Development team to execute strategic global partnerships that help LinkedIn realize its vision to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. She is also a founding member of the LinkedIn Legal & Public Policy’s DIBs Outreach Committee, which aims to support and increase diversity, inclusion, and belonging in the legal profession.
Before relocating to the West Coast in 2005, Allison completed her undergraduate degree at John Hopkins University and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland. Allison is extremely excited to join the California Board of Directors for Girls Leadership, and hopes to play a role in helping today’s girls and young women grow into tomorrow’s leaders, artists, educators, innovators and whatever else they desire to be. As the mother of a threen-ager, she’s busy every day helping her own daughter be brave and cultivate the power of her voice. She lives by the beach in Pacifica with her husband, Tom, daughter, Liliana and black lab, Artemis.
